2014 a blessing year

Assalammualaikum,

Indeed, its been a year since I last write here. The year is 2014. A horse year in Lunar year, but still rabbit at heart. The fung shui expert says that this would be lucky year for rabbit. Haha, well, I'm a Muslim and I don't believe in such thing but Allah S.W.T. has his own way for me.

This year, I, Abdul Hakeem Putra, a law degree holder (Hons.) from Faculyt of Law UiTM , proudly to say that I finally have a degree in my hand. But the saddest part is, I can't continue in LLB (Hons.) as I'm still not good enough for this programme they say (which I presume). Well, maybe it wasn't to be for me this year but I know that I'm good at something and I will find it and be good on it. I just want to repay my parents and their kindness towards me all this while.

All in all, I want to engage as soon as possible with my beloved Irina, insyaALLAH if The Maker says that she is the one, that why not I tie the knot as quickly as possible. I'm still sad about LLB but I need to buckle up and start to find a proper job in-line with my degree qualification or I just go on with it and work in any industry that are willing to accept me.

2013- the year, sorrow year. Yet to complete.

Assalammualaikum....

While I'm writing this, I've completed my 1st degree in law. InsyaAllah if everything goes well, I'll be graduating this coming November 2013. A lot has happen for the past 6month to this year. Apart from I have to wait till this November (insyaAllah) to graduate, a lot of pain and sorrow been happening this year for only 6month.

The shocking news of this year is the lost of my beloved uncle, Long Atan. This is come to a shocked to me as I heard he was admitted to the hospital for his asthmatic situation. This is a normal situation for him to be in and out from the hospital. But who have thought it was his last visit to the hospital and Allah has taken his soul forever. This is so sad for me as the whole family really felt for his lost even to my father who was his younger brother. I could not help it and cried too. After the 'mandi jenazah', his face was smiling and for that instance I knew that he was eager to go to the alam baqa' or barzah. May Allah bless his soul and may he will be put among the good people of Islam in the paradise. He was buried at the Mont Kiara Muslim Cemetary. Al-fatihah.

The second news that I heard is that, my grand aunty, Tok chik who was my Mak Tok(grandma)'s sister past away due to old illness. She was always there during our Hari Raya and she's a great cook and I love when she made the ontok-ontok and we deep it with sambal tumis ikan bilis or udang. I was so sad as I could not come to pay my last visit as I have classes to attend to.  May Allah bless her soul and she will belong in Jannah. Al-fatihah.

The third news, I lost, well we all lost one young member of family(father side). My dear brother cousin lost his only child due to road accident. I managed to come to pay my first and last visit to see her. I was so sad that I didn't have the chance to see her, Wafaa Firdaus. May Allah bless her soul and I know she is the one who belong in Jannah, surely. May Allah bless his family and be strong during this trying time. Al-fatihah.

After all the three sad stories, I also received news about my dear friend lost her only child. May Allah be with her during this trying time as they are indeed a very young couple. For this year only, I received 6 six death news and this is indeed a sorrow year for me. Al-fatihah.

On the 3/7/2013 by 5.15pm marked my last journey as a law student in UiTM. InsyaAllah, if God willing, I will enter my next professional law programme this September, insyaAllah.

I do hope everyone will pray for me for my success and also give your doa to my family members and others who has lost their loved one. Al-fatihah.

After 7 Month

Assalammualaikum and hai,

After resting for almost 7month, I'm in the mood again to write in this lovely blog. Why? Well, a lot of things happen during this 7month. From almost getting something and yet to be postponed and almost flunk two things and the tremendous support for me to go on, everything is worth telling too but however, not all of it will be written here as I'm very secretive and introvert (really, u r buying it?)

Firstly, one of my dreams in the tertiary level of education is to be graduated in time without any thing in the way, which mean I can achieved it without any problem and according to the study plan. However, not everything in life is what we hope for like we plan it out. A plan is just a plan as the Creator, will decide the way. Yes, we can choose what to be and not to be but once it's already been decided, what left for me is Tawakkal and Redha from Him. Disaster struck, yet I flunk another paper due to illness and this has cost me a lot. From the glory of passing all of my subject, I don't have the luxury of passing everything like I did in my foundation years. Allah S.W.T. gave me a lot of test and obstacles so that I'm ready to face the real deal, the real world. Hence, I've made up my mind that I will strive this time around in the so called my "final" semester, which in reality I have another semester to look forward too. Sometime in my 14 weeks of the this "final" semester, I tend to look things differently, a lot of question post inside my mind, what is the odd of me extending the semester, what is the consequences of me delaying my graduation day and so on.
Oh well, this question is just merely a question that does not need any clarification or justification as I already know the odds and consequences but yet I took the blow and moved on, move forward to perhaps a greater heights in life.

Being a student means that u r also on the edge of tight budget. Therefore, due to this constrain, I tend to minimize my involvement in money related-stuff (which obviously, I failed to do). Therefore, I look into many opportunities in life in the real world, to get extra income but I don't think I have any luck in the real world. Hence, I've tighter the budget and managed to make a little savings of my own just to be on the save side. Guys, really, money is everything even though money is not everything in life but the real world, needs money to survive, just to merely survive. I just pray to the Almighty to lend me His strength to me go through this trying times ahead of me.

Now, Ramadhan have arrived. I'll fasting at my home and will be celebrating the Aidilfitri with my family. This month of holiness has come at absolutely at the right time for me as I need the peace of mind during this month of ibadah. Too much pressure in studying can be something that worries me so much and being away from family can be very stressful as u need all the support needed and I've the support of my family and my love. She always there for me, through thick and thin, through all the odds for the girl that I thought wouldn't understand me in a way, she really does understands me like not others. This few days will mark the 3 years of love, care, and cherish of the relationship that was never to be expected to be like this all this time. :) I do love her and raring to go for a fresh start after the month of Ramadhan and really wanted to graduated as soon as possible to be in the working world to get some money to set up my own family later on.

Lastly, Happy Fasting and Salam Ramadhan to all. . . May this month will bring barakah to all of you. Assalammualaikum, maasalamah~

The end of journey....

Assalammualaikum and hai,

It's been awhile since the last I wrote something here to share my feelings and so many things. This time, my 8th Final in Uni life. It was so hard. I still have one paper left. But I wouldn't know whether I'm going to make it or not. The challenge is so hard. I almost lost it all this time around. To give a lot of excuses is not the way of successful person. Even Dato' Dr. Fadhilah Kamsah once said, " Stop giving excuses and start to deliver!".

But I just don't know how am I going to be successful. Yes, I admit that I always study last minute but throughout the journey towards the final, I still managed to look on the subject, still knows what on earth Im going to write. But this time around, it is the 2nd last semester before I enter the degree LLB (Hons) together with my friends. From the look of it, I don't have the confidence to actually grad together with them. Hence, it is just me, who eventually will be left behind.

It's already twelve years since the 1st day I entered high-school. It's been 6 years since I left high-school. Throughout this one whole 12 years, what I learnt in the Malaysian education system, EXAM-Oriented really kills the hopes of others. I don't care about people who have the believe that they can do well and excelled in their life later on but to think it closely, not all of them are like all of you. It's like there' two conflicting parties that separated by this nightmare of every students at the end of semester. Yes, this is the way they assess you, to judge you whether you are capable of handling things. BUT trust me, in the real world, no one would actually can do what all of us can do now, Memorize+Digest+Apply+Understand in one shot.

All I can say is that, life+examination is really something to be remember till the day I die. I won't forget this and
May Allah will give a good and fair result to me and others too.

Have You Ever Thought

Assalammualaikum and hai,

Have you ever thought to give one proud moment for your parents? Have you ever thought, to make them retire permanently from their current job and you, as their children, will take care everything, EVERYTHING. Tip to toe, tip-top, superb with almost everything even though it seems impossible to do it. I did, I started to give all that since I started my pre-school. I want my parents to be proud of me.

I know, in the current state, they are not so proud of me, in Malay they say, "Bolehlah". But if I ever wanted to do it, this semester is the field for me to do it. It's "do-or-die" situation for me. This semester can be consider my final year in BLS before insyaALLAH, entering LLB program. I have to do it  whether I like it or not. I've been trying and dying to get into this institution last time out. When I finally got the chance, I blew it up.

I just don't know what when wrong. I did just fine in Asasi and managed to enter BLS program. But when I finally here, suddenly, things goes wrong and things just not according to the plan for me. I tried to bounce back and managed to score in one subject that was a killer subject previously but yet I flunk again. Finally, semester 4 gave a wonderful, joyful and meaningful in BLS program as I managed to pass all subject once more. However, the joy was short as I flunk again in my short course.

At the moment, I've two pending subject and I decided to take the failure as a test from ALLAH S.W.T once more that He already have plan something for me. I just one to show my worth to the faculty and to others, that's all and most importantly to my PARENTS.

Arah Tuju

Assalammualaikum and hai,

Tahap keupayaan mereka melalui sesuatu cubaan dariNYA.

INGATLAH! JANGAN BIARKAN DIRI INI HIDUP TANPA ADA ARAH TUJUAN!~

Rasa Rendah Diri

Assalammualaikum and hai,

7 Ramadhan.

Ingatlah Hati, La Tahzan, Allah sentiasa bersamamu.

What's next?

Assalammualaikum and hai,
Salam Ramadhan, Happy Ramadhan Al-Mubarak to all Muslim all over the world. What next install for me and my life? Oh well, life as usual, fasting for the whole month. Be with my family and get started all over again. Analyzing what went wrong, again, for the 7 1/2 semester in running. I really need to get a new way of studies, again this matter came out. Well oh well, what went wrong? Some of the sections says it all due to the current relationship that bothers me yet I proved it wrong for the 4th semester. Well, after a quick analysis, I found that, it's all the methods that been use in our education system that trim some of us to depend on books not on the practicality which is very vital in surviving the real-world. From what I've learnt during the 1month internship program at the firm, I found that as a student in UiTM it happen to be the best law school in Malaysia as our final year (4th year) equipped as with all the practical aspect that needed in the working world. It is vital and proven to be essential to the post-grad student in finding a job. To be in this faculty helps me a lot in being a good person in terms of respecting others and etc. However, it is also a place where all the good memories lies in this very place. There are many happy stories been put down here in law faculty. This faculty has helped a lot in producing the best product in the country. The system helps the student to be excel all the time. But for a mediocre student like me I find it hard to survive but my instinct says it all, by all means, I MUST SURVIVE this as I really want this. This is the place where I belong. This is it. There no more other place that I truly want to be at this moment. I know, and I always knew,  I happened to be in the best law school in Malaysia. :)

I've been looking forward to be a law practitioner for a very long time since I was 4 or 5 years old. This happen to be the case as some says I want to follow my father's footsteps or what so ever but the actual fact is that being a law practitioner it will enhance your knowledge and won't be fool or tricked by others in this current challenging world. Why oh why LAW? There you go, the answer already been given there. But, in handling this situation, I still lack the ability in the theoretical aspect where it is an essential thing to every lawmen in the planet. You need to have the vast knowledge on certain area so that you can tackle on the issue arises on that instant. That is what I learnt in the one month training. WoW! One month, I already learnt this and that. It was a good thing for the faculty to organize such thing so that the student will expose to the needs of the industry. I must say thank you to the people who is behind this idea.

The fasting month is here. This would be my 4th fasting year as a law student. :) I'm happy and glad to be a law student in UiTM Shah Alam. Only this time it is something special as all of us can get to fast in full month with our beloved family. This is something unusual thing to happen. :) All this thanks to the MOHE people for changing the academic calender solely for the purpose of reorganizing the academic calender. Well done! :) I'm planning to have a full fasting month to myself (with my family) hehe. But there's someone out there that needs me badly. Cewah! haha. Anyways, so, what colour should I wear for this Hari Raya? Any suggestions? Well, I will put the poll outside ya. Please do rate it later.

So, what next for all the Lawrians in law faculty shah alam? Well, up next in coming semester is SAF. This is the most happening event in the faculty, actually in the Uni it selves. For SAF 2011, Could the shy-final-team lawnball led by Ahmad Solehin, Ammar Izzat, Ahmad 'Izzudin, Musawwir Kamal and maybe some new faces in it manage to go all the way this time around? As for the two consecutive SAF they been defeated by the Champion's team (before they won it in the final). For the basketball team that consists of J Nurhadi, Acap, Zik, Dan and many more, could they be the major force? With law student being humble all the time, could they managed to get something from this SAF this time? For the Handball team led by Mercs & Co, perhaps they can produce something wonderful this time. :) And also not forgetting the tennis team too that can be a major force in the tennis event with the likes of Ahfif Sham, Akhir and Shahril leading the charge. The law faculty used to have luck in the volleyball event, well I'm not so sure this time around. For Pétanque team, this will be a trying time for them as most of the seniors would focus on their studies in LLB for now. Well, there are lot of games been compete for but these are always been highlighted. Could there be any shocking event/sport that could be the surprise package this time around? We never know. But Before that, we have MINI-SAF to select the people in this arena, special area of sport to be the Law faculty representative. :) Looking forward to this event.

Salam Ramadhan to all~

Aurora Nova

Assalammualaikum and hai,
Aurora Nova. Yes, people will ask me what does it mean? For me, in finding this word is not that hard as it is something that all of us will look at it in seeking a new dimension in life. The fact that I managed to pass all my subject in previous semester was a great achievement. I knew that I can do better in life and in my studies. Then, I did my short semester shortly after my finals. As a Malay saying goes on, " Sangkakan panas sampai ke petang, rupanya hujan ditengah hari", means that, I thought that there will be a light at the end of tunnel but yet it is still so far for me to achieve it. I was wondering what went wrong this time. Ya, after 3 semester in running with repeated papers , I always struggle to get a full result without any failures in it.

I thought, the last result I achieved would be a good thing for me, a head-start for me but at the end of the day, it was never meant to be. I'm sad, down emotionally, it was a bad thing that happened to me. I always thought about this, I guess, it was never meant to be. But I must be strong, stronger I mean. This is just a small obstacles in life. I know about this as I had experience with it. I must buckle up, analyze again what went wrong. There's a good thing behind all of this. I have to find a new me, look at my last semester result as a motivational high spirit outcome. I just want to show others what I'm capable of, I will surely do my best again, again and again. I will do it my way, I will emerge as a new me be on top of the world~

Hari Terakhir/ The Last Day

Assalammualaikum and Hai,
Ya, today is my last day as an intern at Thomas Philip Advocates & Solicitors. One month of journey that meant a lot to me and I've gained plenty of things from here. The people here are very warm, kind, helpful and the most important thing is cheerful. :) We are like one big happy family here in TP. Eventhough my journey here is short but I can sense the togetherness of this firm. They act as one under the guidance of team leaders and also the principal himself, Mr. Mathew Thomas Philip. With the likes of team leader like Miss Lavinia, Mr. Balan and Mr. Heng Leng, this firm is known to be as one of the best firm in KL in civil litigation matters. It is something good and great that I've learned a lot here, like Company Law, Drafting ( a little bit), advocacy and the most important thing for an intern is, never ending research.

It is actually a good thing, the research helps us a lot and makes us more efficient in doing a certain job. It is so good and nice to see this thing been done in the firm. So, during my final year, I will be taking Company Law that is under Law Of Association I & II. It will be a great thing for the people who worked at a civil litigation firm and courts to know all the things required in it as we already "learned" it without we even noticing it. I'm really looking forward for my next semester.

However, it is also a very sad day for me as I really misses this past whole month doing my internship program here in TP. Nonetheless, when you start something, there will be going to have an end to it.  Good Bye Thomas Philip, Good Bye to all the workers here that were very kind to me. I surely will miss the Accountants lady the warmness+kind of Miss Monica & Miss Tan, always laughing front-desk lady Mila, hardworker & always go back early Sabrina "The Teenage Witch",  have his own way of thinking & hardwork at his age Tony, one-day 'meeting' with Suren.

The People of Litigation Support: a bachelor of BBA that done almost all the work of litigation support that is Mus from Bangladesh, Abg Jai & Abg Fendi the hardoworker, super-senior the quite but not so quite at all associate Hisyam, the kindness of Mr. Balan as a senior associate.

The Para-Legal Team: the husky voice of Kak Nurul (retired optional), always speak with northern slang Vicki, great voice and always smiling Mellissa, the tech lady that always concern on her health Michelle, hardworker & always run here and there Thuha, the super-senior+chambering student Ika, the brotherly+chambering student Rishi, another super-senior the cool associate with almost all the facts & laws at his fingertips Zin, quite+hardworking associate Suria, the friendly and smiling associate Sher How, the serious but sometime funny Tjun, the friendly+helpful associate Lee Lian, the hardworker associate Ben, the seriousness of  Mr. Heng Leng but sometime very funny, the strict+ firm+stand firm with her principal but warm & friendly of Miss Lavinia and all-rounder the principal himself Mr. Mathew.

Not forgetting, the interns here, the tim-tam Master Kelly, the funny+genius Malini, the Korean born Australian that doesn't love Korean movie and music (ironic right?) Angela and also funny+kind-hearted+always love to teased around Danica. It's been a great experienced here and meeting all of you. Till we meet again ya and all the best in the future.

Love ,
Hakeem Putra

The Final Journey

Assalammualaikum and hai,
Ya, as the tittle shows, the final journey for me in this working environment. Next Tuesday, marked the so called one month of training/internship at the firm. Believe it or not, I managed to go through every single task and test magnificently, (cewah, ni la bak kata my colleague, Mal, Angkat Bakul Masuk Sendiri) lol. Anyways, it's been a great journey though. Ya, even though I never been in this environment, but it is a good exposure actually for me to be in this kind of environment as my final year would be very much the same as this.

In other news, I'm so proud of being Malaysian, and the hardcore supporter of Malaysian Football , Harimau Malaya (The Tigers), as for the past 10 days, we managed to play with the Big Four of English Premier League, against Arsenal , Liverpool and Chelsea. It's been a great journey for our football team as they can compete with all the top players in the world. But we must not forget that this is just a pre-season match and the opponent just show a bit of their strength. We must not be complacent with this three match as what's appear in the future( Saturday match against Singapore) is more important but this match brings a lot of exposure to our national side to be a better a player that is fast in game and tactical, the high level of awareness, be creative all the time and super solid at the back. Experience brings more knowledge to the players and with this in their mind, a positive mind, they will be successful in no time.

So, that's what happen to our life Malaysians, the month of  July 2011 was the month of EPL fever on our own soil. It will be in everybody's mind for a long long long time. There's no other team in this World, facing three top teams of EPL in the matter of 10days. It is a good achievement for our football development not even Brazil or Argentina manage to do what we did this time. :) Good Job FAM and Pro-events and the others respective sponsor for choosing Malaysia as their destination of pre-season, hopefully, we can be the hosts again in near future.

Remember, be positive Malaysian, as we can do well as long as we have the positive mind in us. Same goes with the working environment, it will be fun and happening if we create a wonderful mind (+ve mind) in all what we are doing. That's matter the most for all of us. :) Till we meet again, two days in counting.

Perubahan yang dicari

Assalammualaikum and hai,

Jika kita ingin melakukan perubahan, samada kecil atau pun besar, ianya perlu diterjemahkan oleh diri sendiri dahulu. Kenapa diri sendiri perlu melakukan perubahan?

The Never Ending Issues

Assalammualaikum and hai,

As the tittle shown above, the issues that will not have the end is would be, who will win the next general election of Malaysia? The so called PRU13 is to be said to be held either at the end of the year or next year as the ruling government terms due to expire end of next year. Ya, for me as registered voter, I'm looking forward for my 1st ever voting in the election. I was nearly going to vote for the last general election but knowing due to the fact that the then PM, dissolve the parliament earlier that he should, so I lost my chance to vote, if not, this will be second time to vote.

That's besides the point, the main point here would be, whether, how the people will react on this so called new regime under administration of Dato' Seri Najib Tun Razak, the son of the second PM of Malaysia, is he really done enough to get the people's vote for the current ruling government to be re-elect for the 13th time? With all the issues that been hitting his side right now, the margin of winning is doesn't look fine for the ruling government and to think of it, both sides, included the opposition, have actually the same chance on winning the election as it will up to them to win it. But on the other side of argument (from me), the chance of them in winning in 2/3 majority is impossible as there are a few issues of morality, irregularities that need to be cleared from their certain party in the so called coalition (as it was not officially registered).

All in all, both sides doesn't have any enough weigh to really take the country in total, as in the majority. To be a good government, you MUST satisfy all the needs and necessity of the people. Then you are need to be a good government. This is becoming a subject of certain quarters nowadays. It's hard to get a good government nowadays, as time flew by, this matter won't be the main decider in the upcoming election. The people just want that everything is in a safe manner, safe hand to govern the country, ya, for me to, as long as the ruling party( after the election) being fair and keeping their promise during elections, then, it will be a boost for me as a citizen.

Conclusion for this part of stories is that, in life, you can't satisfy every needs and necessity as there will be certain section been isolated or left behind, as the government also human being, normal one like the rest of us. But, don't make that as an excuse for not taking any reports from public on certain issues. Remember, their votes where it counts. So, be wise when choosing a candidate in the election as this people is your representative in the parliament and state assembly.

Bangsaku Diperkotak-katikkan dengan MO yang sama

Assalammuaalaikum and hai...

Yes, that's is the tittle on the aftermath of the illegal street demo happened in my beloved country,Malaysia. Same person behind it, same agenda since the first time he did it when he was in Uni. So, doesn't make any different right? The only difference is, his getting older and unwise.

Siapa penindas, siapa tertindas? Allah Maha Adil, lagi Maha Bijaksana.
